Luxury hotel and business center "Yusupov palace" opened
its doors in resort place Koreiz on the southern coast of Crimea
in June, 1992 . Here you can take pleasure of architectural perfection
of the building which was given birth by talent of remarkable Russian
architect N.L. Krasnov.
The palace is constructed in new roman style
with elements of the Italian Renaissance. Entrances to the building,
staircases and arches are decorated with sculptures of lions and
characters from ancient greek mythology. All these are works of
the Italian and German masters of the late XIX c. From different
directions the palace is surrounded by relic trees and tiny pools.
The palace park - a monument of landscape gardening,
a brainchild of a well-known gardener Charles Kebaha - stretches
over the area of 16,5 hectares. Here more than 200 kinds of decorative
trees and bushes are collected. Summer heat is brightened up with
coolness of numerous fountains of the palace, supplied by mountain
brooks.
The palace is constructed for one of the richest
aristocratic dynasties of Russia, relatives to the imperial family.
Its owner - prince
Feliks Yusupov, count ofSumarokov-Elsten - was the general - governor
of Moscow, and his wife - princess Zinaida Yusupova - had a reputation
of one of the most brilliant women in Europe at the end of XIX c.
Their son - Felix Yusupov jr. - was the only heir to their ancestral
property. His name entered history in connection with an active
participation in attempt to murder Grigory Rasputin in December,
1916. In autumn of 1912 there was an engagement of Felix jr. with
the niece of tzar Nicolay II, great princess Irina Aleksandrovna
in the palace.
Severe events of 1917 did not almost touched
the palace. It became the privilege for the party elite, without
mentioning the concrete owner.
In 1945 during the Yalta conference of heads
of three powers Jusupovsky palace became the residence of the Soviet
delegation led by Supreme commander in chief I.V. Stalin.
In the post-war period the palace was a summer
residence of the Central Committee of the CPSU at which many party
members, statesmen of Soviet Union and heads of foreign communist
parties spent their vacation.
Today Yusupov palace is an ideal place for rest,
surrounded by calm and cool magnificent park on the slopes of Crimean
mountains. It is ready to accept everyone who got used to comfort
and service at VIP level.
Palace interiors are made with the sophisticated
taste. Well-known native masters worked here. The most magnificent
apartment is named in honour of the first owner of the palace -
prince Yusupov. Names of apartments "Stalin" and "Molotov"
speak about their owners.
The combination of the sea and mountain air drunk
by aromas of the peach garden and evergreen laurels, fan palm trees,
plane trees and roses, gives a unique opportunity to restore your
physical strength and health.
Magnificent view from windows and balconies of
luxurious rooms allow visitors to feel like a part of a majestic
nature of Crimea.
To the service of visitors there is cosy restaurant
and bar, cinema hall, billiard room, tennis court, a play ground
for ball playing, a separate beach with a sauna and pool, massage,
and tender Black sea.
During the stay in the palace you have an opportunity
to fruitfully work, hold a meeting, have interesting excursions,
visit local places of interest and cities of Crimea - Sevastopol,
Bakhchisarai, Feodosia etc.
Here the imperial family of the Romanovs was
